2020 FEI WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses set to go ahead in Verden

The 2020 FEI WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses (9-13 December) is set to go ahead in Verden, Germany, despite the increased cases of Covid-19 across Europe.
The regional government of Lower Saxony, where the event is set to take place, is allowing professional sport to continue under strict regulations.
Australia has the following combinations selected to compete at the event:
Five year olds:
Simone Pearce and Dancier Gold
Simone Pearce and Diamond First
6-year olds:
Warwick McLean and F-Type OLD
Simone Pearce and Quando Unico

However, the event has released a statement that the Championships will run without spectators.
“No visitors are admitted to the FEI WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses in Verden.
“The equestrian sports portal clipmyhorse.tv broadcasts all competitions of the World Championships completely in livestream, so that equestrian sports fans can follow the decisions live at home.”
