The McDowells Herbals FEI Junior Team Test saw the top three placings being within 1.5% of each other, with Isabella Anderson and Fortune Cookie securing the win on 67.576%. Second was Mia Doogue and Keystone Ultimate Genius with 65.914% and in third was Sahara Scott and D’Coeur Noble with 65.303%. Isabella then backed it up with 67.941% and first again in the Individual Test to secure the FEI Junior Championship. The Reserve Championship went to Mia Doogue and Keystone Ultimate Genius.

It was a small but competitive Martin Collins Australia FEI Young Rider Class, with Ella Jacobs and Kalahari winning the team test on 67.598% and in second was Emma Sanders riding Quaterbella K with 66.863%. In the Individual test there was once again less than 1% separating them, with Ella Jacobs and Kalahari winning with 69.314% and Emma Sanders and Quaterbella K in second with 68.578%. It is always exciting to see classes at these higher levels with all riders scoring above 65% consistently.
Ava Halloran and Fiesta won the Gary Lung Dressage Small Tour Championship with 63.431% in the Prix St Georges and 64.069% in the Intermediate I. Olivia Farrell and Big Fish were Reserve Champions with 63.627% in the Prix St Georges and 63.186% in the Intermediate I.
Danielle McMahon and Remi Lauries Joy were the only combination in the WestVETS Equine Hospital Under 25 Grand Prix and showcased their work with two great scores of 65.392% in the Intermediate II and 63.547% in the U25 Grand Prix.

Grace Collins and Premonition had a clean sweep in the FEI Childrens classes with scores of 70.714% and 68.000% respectively. The top four placings in this class were consistent across both tests, with Ziva Fitzpatrick and Zelesta in second with 65.357% and 65.200% respectively, and Aleesha Short and Absolute Gold in third with 62.321% and 62.200% respectively.
Competition was tight in the Kez Rugs and Saddlery FEI Pony classes, with Isabella Anderson and Boronia Applause winning the Team test with 63.952% and then coming second in the Individual test with 61.486%. The Q State Properties Sharon Doe Memorial Young Rider Challenge was won by Isabella Anderson and Fortune Cookie with a score of 63.281%. The award was open to riders between ages of 14-25 and is at Prix St Georges level. It is judged primarily on the rider, the effectiveness of aids and ability to technically execute a test in honour of Sharon Doe, who was a highly successful Queensland dressage rider. It never mattered to Sharon what she rode, she just loved to be astride a horse and always felt happiest when she was riding. Previous winners of this award include Olympians Kelly Lane and Jayden Brown and many successful Grand Prix riders including Denise Rogan, Anita Barton, Rosanna Relton, and the late Elliot Patterson.

Events such as these cannot run without lots of work behind the scenes. A massive congratulations to Anita Barton for putting together this event aided by Nicole Magoffin, Technical Delegate Anthony Reckin, Chief Steward Kerri-Lee Ryder, Glenn Pearce for manicuring the arenas, the judges and the countless other volunteers. Additionally, we would not have this sport without the support of all the sponsors of the event.
