The combination made their international debut at the CDI3* in Troisdorf, Germany (10-12 October) for a promising score of 69.413%. The class was won by FEI World No.1 Justin Verboomen riding his ten-year-old stallion Djembe De Hus OLD (Damon Hill x Argentinus), who scored 73.783%.

The result marks another exciting milestone for Will Marq, who at just nine-years-old has already shown great potential with two CDN Grand Prix victories this year, scoring 74.033% and 70.400%.

Following their international debut, Simone shared on Instagram:

“A few too many little green mistakes cost us in the points today but the feeling he face was incredibly positive and I couldn’t be prouder of him being just 9 years old.”

It’s an impressive start to Will Marq’s international career and surely a combination to keep an eye on coming into Aachen 2026, next year.
