If the 1986 Cox Plate was memorable for the battle between Bonecrusher and Our Waverly Star, who could forget the amazing effort of the mighty Kingston Town, in winning three Cox Plates on end.
Australian dressage rider Jemma Heran has delivered a pair of competitive performances at the Kronenberg CDI3* in the Netherlands (28-30 November), marking another international outing with her gelding Total Recall (Totilas x Sandro Hit).
The global dressage and breeding community is mourning the loss of the great Oldenburg stallion Stedinger (Sandro Hit x Landadel), who has passed away at the age of 25. The influential sire was laid to rest in his home in Australia, surrounded by those who cared for him in his twilight years.
Australian Edwina Tops-Alexander delivered a superb fourth-place finish in the A Coruña CSI5* World Cup qualifier with Fellow Castlefield, as Dutch rider Willem Greve and Pretty Woman van’t Paradijs N.O.P. ultimately claimed victory.
