The 2019 SsangYong  Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials have begun!

The 2019 SsangYong  Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials saw 87 horses stride down the runway, in hopes of being accepted through to the dressage phase, which commences tomorrow.

The official ground jury, which consisted of Britain’s Jane Holderness-Roddam, New Zealand’s Andrew Bennie and Australia’s PollyAnn Huntington gave the green light to 86 horses. Rebecca Nicholson and Uno II were the only combination to be knocked back form the competition.

The CCI4* event will see some of the sports top eventing combinations compete, with a handful of Aussies contesting the event as well. The Aussies competing at Blenheim this weekend include Andrew Hoy, Sammi Birch, Kevin McNab, Benjamin Leahy, Sam Griffiths and Chris Burton.
