The Evans Performance Horse team from Somersby New South Wales are making their mark on the Australian dressage scene; successfully campaigning horses of all breeds and heights across the levels to FEI. Their outstanding pony stallions Glamour Rock BHI and EPH California (Brookevalley Caerwyn) have enjoyed much success this year with young rider Sydney Evans in the saddle; notably, they are the current 4 Year Old Pony Champion (Glamour Rock BHI) and Reserve Champion (EPH California), as awarded at the 2019 Dressage and Jumping with the Stars. Both stallions are now standing at stud for the 2019/2020 season.

A beautiful palomino standing 146.7cm, Glamour Rock BHI has been elite assessed as both a foal and again as a stallion, and holds multiple registrations including the Welsh Pony and Cob Society of Australia, AHSA and Dilutes (pending). By Golden Rock (imp) x Fidertanz x Deniro, “Rocket” was the first stallion to be licenced by Westphalia in Australia. Showing clear talent for FEI dressage, he is also a talented jumper with a wonderful temperament. A proven breeder, his first foals are on the ground and exceptional.
EPH California:
EPH California is a gorgeous purebred Welsh D stallion

EPH California is a striking purebred Welsh D stallion standing 143cm. Registered with the WPCS as Brookevalley Caerwyn, “Cali” is by Trapalanda Dai Wynne and out of Avonvalley Ariel, who was imported from the UK. He shows amazing talent for the collected work and has an exceptional canter, always attracting fantastic comments and scores from dressage judges. Incredibly versatile, he is showing natural talent for jumping and the show ring, and steals the hearts of all those that meet him with. “As his rider, it’s a pleasure to work with such a trainable, willing stallion who has so much potential” – Sydney Evans. Cali has recently commenced competing at Novice level dressage, and will be ACE assessed and licenced in 2020.
