Australian Grand Prix superstar, Simone Pearce has won the Stallion Performance show in Münster-Handorf, with the immensely talented 5-year-old stallion, DiMaggio Black.
The combination received a 9.5 for their walk, a 9.0 for their trot, a 9.5 for their canter, a 9.5 for their training and a 9.5 for their perspective.
Simone shared a post to her Facebook page, which read: “Wooohoooo DiMaggio Black won the stallion performance show with 9.45 in an incredibly strong field of stallions he was able to show him self beautifully for a 9.5 in walk, 9.0 trot, 9.5 canter, 9.5 training and 9.5 perspective.
This is extra special for me because I chose Dommy when I saw him getting broken in as a 3yo in the training stable at Sprehe. He had only been ridden a few times but it was literally love at first sight! I had a feeling straight away that he would be “my horse” so he was directly moved to my list and I’ve been riding him ever since.
I am so proud to hear the judges praise his rideability and harmonious way of working. I really believe this amazing stallion is going to be a Grand Prix star one day and I really hope I have the opportunity to train him all the way through.”
