Emma Booth & Amelia White ride Team Tests in Kronenberg

This morning in Kronenberg saw the Team Tests ridden at CPEDI3* Peelbergen, with two Australian para dressage riders in action — Emma Booth and Amelia White.

Emma Booth and Friday IV were the first combination in the arena for the Grade III Team Test, and it’s always a little tricky being that initial cab off the rank! The pair scored a solid 68.97% for 7th, with the judge at C awarding 71.029%.

A truly amazing effort for Emma and Friday, with very consistent scores across the board for all movements, and just a few weeks into the partnership. This score means the pair have achieved the FEI MER for the World Championships (62%+ in a CPEDIA3* or above Team or Individual Test).

Australia’s own selection criteria requires combinations to provide two Team and two Individual Test scores (where scores of 70%+ are of particular interest) this year in order to then be considered for team selection.

Friday IV is owned by Lyn Sultana, Mark Sultana and Maree Tomkinson. Last year, Maree rode the mare — who is by Fürstenball out of her 2014 WEG mare Diamantina — at the World Young Horse Championships.

Later in the draw, Emma also rode Fürst Deluxe to 15th place on 66.079% and another FEI MER.

Amelia White rode Genius in the Grade V, scoring 67.907% for 14th. Genius is an 11 year old KWPN gelding by Glock’s Romanov out of the Don Schufro mare Comtesse, and owned by Amelia in conjunction with Antje and Ian White. Amelia and Genius already have an FEI MER.

Congratulations Emma and Amelia and good luck in tomorrow’s Individual Test!
