DJWTS underway at Werribee

P.S.I. Dressage & Jumping With The Stars got underway on Thursday at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre, with horses and ponies in action across all disciplines.
 
The Prix St Georges Cup went to David McKinnon riding Kylie Riddell’s Boulevard, with the pair scoring 74.216%.
 
In the first rounds of the young pony classes, the 4YO class went to Freeman’s Lodge Gigabyte, ridden by Toni Webb to a score of 77.4%; the 5YO class went to mr Right Now on a score of 83.4% and ridden by Caitlyn Porter; and the 6YO class went to Tamely Farm Calamity Jane, scoring 78% and ridden by Justin Worthy.
 
 
 
 

Thursday also saw the first rounds of two of the young horse age divisions, with Selected for Elliot Patterson winning the 4YO class on 83.4%, and last year’s DJWTS Champion of Champions, SPH Fortino, claiming the 7YO class for Robbie McKinnon on 77.218%.
 
 
In the jumping, the first rounds of the young horse classes took place. Si Van Heiste and Nathan Wood won the 4YO class; Diamond B Chatterbox and Emma Smith won the 5YO class; Blue Balou PS and Billy Raymont won the 6YO class; and Everest JEP with Sarah McMillan in the saddle won the 7YO class.
 
 
In the young event horse classes, Wimborne Caitlin and Sam Jeffree won the 4/5YO jumping class; Tulara Baltango and Sophia Hill won the 6/7YO jumping class; Bounce AE and Asha Warnock won the 4/5YO dressage class; and Kenlock Sandro Sky for Sam Jeffree won the 6/7YO dressage class.

Sophia Hill and Tulara Baltango were the overall winners in the 6/7YO class, while Samuel Jeffree and Wimborne Caitlin were the overall 4/5YO Young Event Horse winners and were also crowned Champion of Champions.
 
Competition continues Friday and Saturday.
