The Australian World Cup Jumping series continued this weekend with The Elms Showjumping Championships hosting a World Cup Qualifier.

Beating out a tough field of competition, Sarah McMillan and Tyrone rose to the challenge picking up only one penalty across the two rounds to take out top place in the World Cup Qualifier in Sale.

Robert Palm and Jaybee Vibrant claimed second place with 5 penalties, with Tom Mcdermott riding Cooley Gangster coming in third on 8 penalties.

It was an especially special weekend for a bunch of local young pony clubbers who got to walk the course with the World Cup riders. It’s an experience many of them will surely treasure for a long time!

It’s been a big show for Andrew Lamb and Oaks Ever Red with the combination placing first in the Clint Kelly Excavations Mini Prix, the Hair is Kanyemba Open 1.40m class and the Denison Park Open 1.30m.

In other results, the Sale Farm & Equine Fancy Dress Speed Championship was scooped up by Katelin Clark riding Katelle Grand in what appeared to be an Elsa from Frozen inspired costume!
