Alpine brumbies won’t be shot until winter as mountain cattlemen saddle up to save them

Parks Victoria has stalled plans to shoot feral horses in some parts of the state’s alpine region until at least winter.

A High Country cattleman’s push in the Supreme Court of Victoria to save feral horses from being killed means professional shooters will not start their work before June 1.
