By Equestrian Life
Andrew Hoy and Vassily de Lassos have finished on their dressage score for fifth place in the CCI4*L at Pratoni Eventing, Italy, over the weekend.
Vassily de Lassos, owned by Paula and David Evans, scored 32.5 in the dressage and was faultless in both jumping phases. Their score placed them equal fourth with Germany’s Sophie Leube and Jadore Moi, however they were officially fifth based on their cross country time.
“Vassily de Lassos gets the ‘Gold Star Award’ for another amazing ‘Finish on Dressage’ result – in equal 4th (of which his super speedy XC round meant the 5th place) in the CCI4*L,” announced Hoy Eventing via Instagram.
Andrew also finished in 13th place with the grey Basmati. The pair scored 36.9 in the dressage, 0.8 time penalties in the cross country, and just one rail and 1.2 time penalties in the showjumping to finish on 42.9.
The class was won by Germany’s Ingrid Klimke and SAP Asha P on 26.9. Ingrid also won the CCI4*S with SAP Hale Bob OLD.
Andrew also rode Brigant in the CCI2*L for 14th place on 60.40
“A very big ‘Thank you!’ goes to everyone who makes this possible – my most wonderful owners, the hard working Hoy Team, my Coaches, my Sponsors and Partners and most certainly the wonderful support from EA High Performance. Thank you all!” said Andrew.
