The 2018 Saddleworld Brisbane CDI has come to an end. The four-day competition, which was held at the Queensland State Equestrian Centre in Caboolture was a success, with many great results from riders throughout the duration of the event.

The event had various classes, including the CDI3* Grand Prix, CDI-Y, CDI-J, CDI-U25 Big Tour, the FEI Para Equestrian Classes – 2018 WEG Qualifier, as well as various Preliminary, Medium and advanced classes.

The Carl Hester Young Horse Showcase and Master class began this morning, with the four and five year old young horse session being the first class of the day, which began at 10:15am.

The Pryde’s Easifeed Grand Prix Freestyle CDI3* class produced many impressive results, with Alexis Hellyer and Bluefields Floreno topping the class again, with a score of 73.950 percent. Coming in second was Shannan Goodwin and Aristede with 73.200, just 0.75 percent behind. Third went to Rozzie Ryan and Jarrah R with 71.800 percent. Fourth and fifth place went to Sue Hearn on Remmington with 71.370 percent and Jude with 65.475 percent.

The champion of the FEI Para Equestrian Grade IV Championship test went to Sharon Jarvis on Ceasy, with a winning score of 67.602 percent. Coming in second was Sarah Sherwood and Janevelyn Tsunami, with a score of 61.220 percent.

The winner of the FEI Young Rider 16-21 year old Freestyle CDI-Y went to Daisy Fielding and Fairbanks Davinci with a strong score of 69.625 percent. Second went to Alistair Schramm and Zero Degrees with 68.495 percent, and third place went to Anastasia Quirk and World Of Music with a score of 66.875 percent.
