Aussie Rebecca Braitling third at CCI4*-L in California

Australian eventer Rebecca Braitling has finished third with Caravaggio II at Twin Rivers Spring International’s inaugural CCI4*-L event in California, USA.

It was the combination’s second CCI4* event and their first CCI4*-L, following on from their impressive fifth place finish in the CCI4*-S at Galway Downs two weeks ago.

Caravaggio II (Vangelis-S x Courtesan), a 10-year-old British Sport Horse gelding owned by Arnell Sporthorses, scored 38.4 in the dressage, and added just 8 cross country time faults, one rail and 1.6 show jumping time penalties to finished on 52. The class was won by Amber Levine and Cinzano on 32.3.
