Champions crowned at DJWTS

The final day of action at the 2022 P.S.I Dressage & Jumping with the Stars saw the Champion of Champions titles awarded for the young dressage and jumping horses.
In the dressage arena, guest rider Charlott Schurmann rode all four age champions – 7YO champion WillingaPark Fangio, 6YO champion SPH Fortino, 5YO champion WillingaPark Miana, and 4YO champion JMH Frankly. The title was awarded to SPH Fortino (Bluefields Floreno x Donna Carina), who was ridden by Robbie McKinnon.
In the jumping class, guest rider Helena Torstensson rode the four age championship winners, 4YO champion Yandoo Evergreen, 5YO champion Yalambi’s Messiah, 6YO champion Yirrkala Celeste, and 7YO champion Diamond B Bedazzled. The Champion of Champions title went to Yalambi’s Messiah (Cardento x Yalambi Faith Van Dabyijhoeve by Heartbreaker) ridden and owned by Caitlin Bolger. This grey warmblood stallion was bred at Yalambi Farm Stud, located at Wilyabrup in WA.

The Champion of Champions young dressage pony was named Friday, with Brookside Shazam, ridden by Annie Creed, taking out the title.
In the Grand Prix CDI-W Freestyle this evening, Mary Hanna and Syriana claimed the win on a huge 77.310%. Jayden Brown and WillingaPark Sky Diamond were second on 74.54%, and Michelle Baker finished third with Bradgate Park Puccini on 73.31%.

Serena Ireland and Royalty R won the Aachen Challenge for young riders, while Rosemary Sutherland and Cherishwood Dream On won the first ever CDI Childrens competition held on Australian soil.
