Ingrid Klimke injured in training accident

It has been reported that German dressage and eventing star Ingrid Klimke is having a break from riding following a fall during training earlier in the week.
Buschreiter.de reported that Ingrid has suffered a thoracic vertebral fracture, but is in good hands and on the mend.
Taking to Facebook, Ingrid expressed her thanks to well-wishers (translated from German):
“Thank you very much for the many messages and recovery wishes that have reached me through the most diverse ways! Fortunately, I’m fine so far and I have to practice a little patience in the near future and can only train my horses from the ground!”
We wish Ingrid a speedy recovery, as no doubt she’ll want to be back in the saddle once competition starts back post-corona restrictions!
