Five time Olympian Ingrid Klimke needs little introduction; not only is she an Olympic gold medallist, she’s also enjoyed success at the World Equestrian Games, European Championships and some of the sport’s most prestigious events such as CHIO Aachen, Luhmühlen and Pau.
Her most recent victories include the CCIO4* Nations Cup eventing at Aachen, and of course team and individual gold at the 2019 European Eventing Championships. Besides eventing, she is also a top Grand Prix dressage rider with an ability to mix it with the best. Very few can say they’ve successfully competed at the top level in multiple disciplines concurrently!
In February 2020, Dressage Masterclass is bringing this remarkable sportswoman Down Under to share her training advice, tips and stories from a lifetime spent with horses — in both the disciplines of eventing and dressage.
Of course, this means there is now the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ride in front of one of the sport’s best.

Applications are now open for those wanting the opportunity to take part in the Saddleworld Dressage Masterclass with Ingrid Klimke at Werribee Park, and the event is accepting both professionals and amateurs (unfortunately for eventers, applications are already closed for the SAP Eventing Masterclass).
So, how do I get a chance to ride with Ingrid Klimke?
1. Record a short video of why you’d like to ride with Ingrid and post this to your Facebook page. Tag Dressage Masterclass and use the hashtags #ridewithingrid2020 #ingridklimke2020
2. Like the Dressage Masterclass page to stay up to date with all the event news.
3. Send a max 5 minute Vimeo or YouTube video link of you riding your horse in an email to info@dressagemasterclass.com.au including what competition level your horse is at, your name and your horse’s name. Please send the original video you posted to FB, as Dressage Masterclass will post the shortlisted riders’ videos after selection.
4. Entries close on the 30th of September and the shortlisted riders will be announced in November.
