Simone Pearce and No Limit have claimed the silver medal in the 5YO Final at the FEI/WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championship for Young Horses in Ermelo, the Netherlands!
Following their fantastic performance in the 5YO Qualifier on Thursday where they finished fifth on 88%, the pair stepped it up in the final and scored 88.6% to claim second place.
No Limit received 9.5 for the trot, 8.8 for the walk, 9 for the canter, 7.8 for submission and 9.2 for perspective to post the overall mark of 8.6 (88.6%).
Owned by the Ritzinger family, No Limit is a Westfalen gelding bred by Marcel Roerdink of the Netherlands, by Geniaal (Vivaldi) out of Florina (Florestan I). Emily Reudavey is his groom for the World Championships.
The 5YO Final was won by Denmark’s Betina Jaeger and Quinn G on 94.8%, with Germany’s Thomas Schulze and Beck’s taking bronze on 88.2%.

In other results Saturday, Will Matthew and young Grand Prix horse Freischütz 5 scored 66.935% to place 16th in the CDI3* Grand Prix class. The pair will now contest the CDI3* Grand Prix Special on Sunday at 5.09pm AEST.
In the 6YO Small Final, Maree Tomkinson and Imagine II were 17th on 77.2%, while Alicia Ryan and Merricks Sonique were 24th in the 7YO Small Final on 67.011%.
On Sunday, Hope Beerling will contest the 7YO Final with Vianne at 6.10pm AEST.
