Stonewall Equestrian hosted the penultimate leg of the 2025 FEI Jumping World Cup Australian League at Mangrove Mountain in NSW on Saturday, with Tom McDermott and Oaks Ventriloquist jumping to victory.

A strong field of 21 combinations took on the Julien Pradervand-designed course, with four combinations jumping clear in round one: Sam Overton and Oaks Cassanova, James Mooney and KPH Cavatina, Billy Raymont and Caprino, and Tom McDermott with Oaks Ventriloquist.

Ten combinations returned for round two, and all four aforementioned combinations again jumped clear – as did Phil Lever and Billionaire NZPH, Sarah-Louise McMillan and Tyrone, Rhys Stones with Riverton Kanntador, and Anneliese Wansey with Texas.

Of the four double clears, Tom McDermott with Oaks Ventriloquist produced a lightning-fast round to stop the clock at 51.40 seconds – nearly three seconds clear of Billy Raymont and Caprino (54.19). James Mooney and KPH Cavatina placed third (56.94) and Sam Overton and Oaks Cassanova (57.15) were fourth. Phil Lever and Billionaire NZPH were the quickest of those with four faults (53.87).

The 2025 FEI Jumping World Cup Australian League concludes at the Sydney Summer Classic (11-14 December).
