Tor Van Den Berge set for World Championship start in Beekbergen

Australian driver Tor Van Den Berge is set to contest the 2025 FEI Driving World Championship for Pair Horses in Beekbergen, The Netherlands, with Jaquar, Jayton and Lars VS. He will compete in the dressage phase on the opening day.

The horse inspection is complete, and the action is set to commence at the 2025 FEI Driving World Championship for Pair Horses in Beekbergen, The Netherlands.

Australia’s Tor Van Den Berge is competing with three horses owned by Leo Van Der Burgt: 11-year-old KWPN geldings Jaquar and Jayton, and nine-year-old KWPN gelding Lars VS. It will be his fourth World Championship appearance, but his first with this team of horses.

Eighty-nine competitors will line up for the dressage phase across two days. Van Den Berge drives in the final group on day one.

Tor Van Den Berge: 4:10pm local time (Friday, 12:10am AEST)

Sweden’s Emma Olsson, who is a regular on Boyd Exell’s carriage team, will also compete. She drives Daan 8, Jelviro, and Neapolitano Nimrod – all horses familiar to Team XL followers.
