Julia Lynch has sadly lost her 2012 London Olympic ride, Vedor. Julia and the talented 17-year-old Dutch Warmblood had their Olympic debut in London, and did extremly well. The combination made it to the individual final, where they finished in equal 35th position, and equal 10th in the teams competition.

Julia shared a post on her Facebook page JD Lynch, which read: “I wasn’t expecting this day to come so soon… RIP Vedor, you were one of a kind. Thank you for everything you have given me and many others. I never thought a horse could change my life, but you proved me wrong. I love you, and look forward to seeing you on the other side xxx”

Equestrian Life’s thoughts are with Julia during this difficult time.
