Australian Nations Cup eventing team named for Boekelo

Australia has named its Nations Cup eventing team for Boekelo, with four combinations set to compete in The Netherlands this October. The CCIO4*-L offers valuable international exposure as preparations continue toward major championships.

Equestrian Australia has announced the four combinations selected to represent Australia in the CCIO4*-L Nations Cup to be held in Boekelo, The Netherlands from 9-13 October.

The Australian eventing team includes:

Ema Klugman and Chiraz (owned by The Chiraz Syndicate and Ema)

Kevin McNab and Faro Imp (owned by Sofia Von Moltke and Emma McNab)

Isabel English and Cil Dara Bombay S (owned by Sara English, Sofia Von Moltke, Jenny and John Curtis)

Olivia Barton and APH Sodoku (owned by Carlene Barton)

High Performance Director, Will Enzinger, notes the importance of international team experience for Australian riders: “The Nations Cup format provides an important opportunity to expose both new and established combinations in line with HP’s LA [Olympic] strategy as we build on providing experiences in line with World Championships and Olympic Games preparations.”

Two of the selected combinations, Kevin McNab with Faro Imp and Isabel English with Cil Dara Bombay S, are currently preparing to compete in the prestigious GFS Saddles 8 & 9 Year Old CCI4*S at Blenheim International in the UK. The event is running alongside the 2025 FEI Eventing European Championship.
