The 2019 Horse Of the Year Show (HOYS) in Birmingham, will see some of the Britain’s top horse and rider combinations compete, with Charlotte Dujardin and Mount St John Valencia being no exception!
The anticipated event commences on the 2nd of October, and will continue to run throughout the week till Sunday, with The Dressage Future Elite Championship class commencing on Thursday, 3rd October in the Andrews Bowen International Arena.
Dujardin will be returning to the HOYS once again, in hopes of claiming The Dressage Future Elite Championship title, for the fourth consecutive year. eight combinations are allowed to compete in the class, with each horse having to be between the ages of eight and ten. The eight combinations are required to perform an Intermediate I Freestyle test to music.
Charlotte Dujardin has claimed The Dressage Future Elite Championships title at the HOYS for the past three consecutive years. Dujardin claimed the title in 2016 with Hawtins Delicato, with a score of 78.62%, followed by Mount St John Freestyle in 2017, with an impressive score of 84.91%, then Forentina VI in 2018, with 79.12%.
