FEI World Championships
Australian driver Tor Van Den Berge is set to contest the 2025 FEI Driving World Championship for Pair Horses in Beekbergen, The Netherlands, with Jaquar, Jayton and Lars VS. He will compete in the dressage phase on the opening day.
The world’s finest young Dressage horses gathered in a well-attended Verden, Germany, to contest the FEI WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses across three age divisions. The event was dominated by the Dutch KWPN studbook, which collected five of the nine medals on offer.
Australian Tayla Desmet and homebred gelding Dark Diamond posted a personal best 79.6% in the Small Final for Five-Year-Old Horses at the World Breeding Championships in Verden, improving over 8% from qualifying to finish sixth from 30 combinations.
Australian Alexandra Vodermair and Exact set another personal best at the 2025 FEI WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championship for Young Horses in Verden, placing fourth in the Six-Year-Old Small Final. In the Five-Year-Old class, Alicia Ryan and Tayla Desmet impressed, while Dutch stallion Proud James claimed victory.
Australian Sahara Weil has completed her campaign at the FEI Vaulting World Championship for Juniors in Stadl-Paura, Austria, producing solid results on the world stage in the Female Individual division.
The 2025 FEI WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championship for Young Horses began with the First Qualification for 6-Year-Old Horses on Wednesday.
From 11-23 August 2026, the FEI World Championships return to Aachen.
