Cathryn Herbert & Wimborne Constable lead the CCI4*L at MI3DE

The second day of dressage took place today at the GM Specialty Vehicles Melbourne International Three-Day Event, with the CCI4*L, CCIJ2*L, and the second half of the CCI2*L class in action.
The Pryde’s EasiFeed CCI4*L saw 18 competitors take to the dressage arena in front of judges Christian Steiner of Austria, Margaret Carline of New Zealand, and Australian Polly-Ann Huntington, with several impressive scores posted.
Cathryn Herbert and Wimborne Constable lead the field on a score of 29 after a great test, with 2022 FEI World Championship competitors Hazel Shannon and WillingaPark Clifford a close second on 29.9. Olivia Barton and Henrik APH are third on 30.4, followed by Oliver Barrett and Sandhills Special on 30.7, and Madison Seivwright of New Zealand riding Waitangi Pinterest rounding out the top five on 31.7.
Following the completion of the Off The Track CCI2*L dressage today, Will Enzinger and Epic Xtreme have taken over the lead with a score of 27.7. Edward Darby and Somerset Day are second on 28.6, with yesterday’s leaders, Megan Jones and Magic Park Irish Gift, in third place on 29.5. Olivia Barton and APH Sodoku are equal fourth on 29.8 alongside Hannah Deegan and off the track Thoroughbred HK Hawthorn.
The Off The Track CCIJ2*L (junior class) also took place today, with Avril Charman and Annabella leading the seven-combination field on 29.4. Tahlia Pursell and Astro NZPH are second on 29.8, and Chloe Daun riding PEC Barindale Grandeur are third on 33.3.
