CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle win for Jessica Dertell at Dressage by the Sea

Jessica Dertell’s success has continued at Willinga Park’s Dressage by the Sea, with the 19-year-old winning the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle today with 17-year-old KWPN stallion Cennin.
The duo, who won yesterday’s CDI3* Grand Prix, won the Freestyle today with a score of 74.66%.

Second place went to Charlotte Phillips and CP Dresden on 70.865%, while Elliot Patterson and Del Piero ZF were third on 69.825%. Justine Greer and Fonzie II were fourth with a PB of 69.795%, and Heath Ryan again rounded out the top five in the CDI3* today on 68.945%.
Tomorrow the CDI3* Grand Prix Special will again see Mary Hanna and Ivanhoe back in the mix, once again going head-to-head with Jessica and Cennin; on Friday, only the narrowest of margins separated them in the Grand Prix.
In other classes today, Jessica also won the CDI-U25 Grand Prix with Syriana on 69%, while the Inter I CDI1* went to Georgina Foot and Zoe on 67.824%.
Among other classes, the young horse tests also took place today. In the 4YO Young Horse class, pony Glenhill Divine Classic came out on top against the horses for rider Alison Gill – winning with a score of 88%, the biggest young horse class score of the day. The 5YO class went to Alex Vodermair riding Exact on 85.2%, while the 6YO class went to John Thompson and Sicario on 84.8%, and the 7YO class was won by Furstenglanz for Caitlin Scott on 79.056%.
