The final day of competition at Jumping @ Willinga saw the pinnacle event, the Willinga Park Grand Prix, won by none other than Chris Chugg and PSS Levilensky. The pair jumped a double clear, to the finish the second round in the fastest time – 57.450 seconds. Chris took home the winner’s cheque of $25,000!
Second place went to Olivia Hamood and Jane Fonda DVD, who produced the only other double clear in a time of 61.870 seconds.
Third place went to Chris’ partner Gabi Kuna and the stunning grey Cera Cassiago; the pair also jumped clear, but played it safe in the second round to finish with 1 time penalty.
Next came Tom McDermott and Elegance De La Charmille, who were the fastest of those with 4 faults; Tom also took fifth place with Alpha Activity. In sixth and seventh was Katie Laurie with Casebrooke Lomond and Cera Caruso respectively, followed by Gabi Kuna and Flaire in eighth place; they all finished the day on 4 faults.
