Dressage gets underway at Haras du Jardy

The first day of dressage has concluded at Haras de Jardy in France, with two Australian riders completing their tests for the CCIO4*S Nations Cup event.
Megan Jones and Toulando achieved a score of 36.5 to finish the day in 15th place, while Rebecca Braitling and Caravaggio scored 40.2 for 27th place.
French combinations Maxime Livio with Api Du Libaire, and Gwendolen Fer riding Romantic Love lead the field, with scores of 27.1 and 29.4 respectively – the only sub-30 scores thus far.

Friday will see the third and final Australian team member, Kevin McNab, complete his dressage test with Willunga at 10.33am (6.33pm AEST).
Megan Jones also has her individual entrant, RLE Barina, competing on day two of the dressage at 12.06pm (8.06pm AEST).
Three-star horses in action
Australians are also competing in the CCI3*S at Haras du Jardy. Andrew Hoy is in fifth place following day one of the dressage with Cadet de Beliard on a score of 29.3, while Kevin McNab is in eighth riding Faro IMP on 29.8. Megan Jones and the third horse she travelled with to Europe, Guhr, are in 37th place on 36.3.
Another Aussie, Isabel Finemore, is riding Heartbeat in the second half of the draw, and Kevin McNab is also set to ride his CHIO Aachen horse, Miss Pepperpot.
