Edward Gal has debuted the 9-year-old Hanoverian stallion Toto Jr at Grand Prix level, winning the class with an impressive score of 79.34%. The pair competed at Schijndel CDN, south east of ’s-Hertogebosch in the Netherlands.

The Grand Prix was judged by De Bel, Bohm and Hamoen.

Toto Jr is by Totilas x Desperados x Rotspon, and is from Totilas’ first crop of foals. The stallion is a licensed Hanoverian and also approved for KWPN breeding. He was purchased by Gaston Glock as a young stallion and presented by Marieke van der Putten on the KWPN Stallion show circuit. In more recent times, he has been ridden by Gal and trained towards Grand Prix, although not shown.

EuroDressage reported in March that Gal considers Toto Jr and Total U.S. (by Totilas x Sir Donnerhall) as Olympic hopefuls with Tokyo postponed for a year, alongside current Grand Prix star Zonik.
