Elliot Patterson and Santiago prepare for Europe
By Equestrian Life
Queensland based dressage rider Elliot Patterson is preparing to head to Germany for three months with Emma and Paul Weel’s stunning Santiago. The new combination will be based with Andreas Schöffner in Löningen.
Emma Weel purchased Santiago as an 8-year-old from Matthew Dowlsey as a Medium/Advanced horse. After riding him for 12 months, she handed him back to Matthew to continue his training to Grand Prix. This year, Emma and Matthew decided to hand the reins over to Elliot, who competed the horse with success at the Sydney CD-Lite, winning the Inter II test on 69%.
We look forward to following this exciting combination’s European venture!
