A strong field of 24 combinations lined up for the event, with five producing clear rounds in the first phase: Tori Stuckey and Jaybee Ballon D’or, Billy Raymont and Caprino, Amber Fuller and Cadenza NZPH, Jamie Winning-Kermond and Tulara Wat Colblensky, and Emma Collins with Oaks Abracadabra.
Twelve combinations then returned for the second round, with four jumping double clear – meaning it all came down to time, and it was tight!
In the end, 37-year-old Emma Collins and her rising 13-year-old chestnut mare Oaks Abracadabra were the quickest, stopping the clock at 45.66 seconds. Impressively, Oaks Abracadabra (by Armitage out of a Vivant mare) – bred by Oaks Sport Horses – was making her World Cup debut at Boneo.

Second place went to Jamie Winning-Kermond and Tulara Wat Colblensky, who finished in 45.90 seconds, ahead of Amber Fuller and Cadenza NZPH with 46.52, and Billy Raymont and Caprino with 46.94. Tori Stuckey and Jaybee Ballon D’or had a single rail and, as the only combination to finish on four faults, rounded out the top five.
