“Following the success of the Trans-Tasman Test event at Jumping @ Willinga last year, Equestrian Australia and High Performance Jumping are excited to expand the series to include two additional competitions and a Young Rider team at each,” said Equestrian Australia via a news release.

“As we look towards Aachen [FEI World Championships] 2026 and beyond, we hope these events will provide valuable team experience for both Senior and Young Rider athletes from Australia and New Zealand while also providing emerging combinations exposure to a competitive team environment.”

The Trans-Tasman events will allow up to 12 combinations in both the Senior and Young Rider competitions the opportunity to compete as part of an Australian team, as well as giving our riders in the Oceania region the chance to strengthen their international experience.
