Equestrian Australian announces CCIO3*L team for Millstreet

Equestrian Australia has announce the team for the CCIO3*-L to be held at the Millstreet International Horse Trials in Cork, Ireland from 1-4 June 2023.

The CCIO3*-L Competition will act as an Olympic Qualifier for FEI Group F & G Nations (Africa, Middle East, South East Asia and Oceania). As New Zealand have already qualified through their result at the FEI World Championships last year, Australia will need to finish in the top two of the Non-Qualified FEI Group Nations to gain an Eventing Team spot for the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Australia has held a team camp for the last 4 days in Oxfordshire, England to optimise the team’s preparation for the competition.

Provisional event entries have been out for some time, however the official CCIO3*L team has now been named:

Andrew Hoy riding Vassily de Lassos

Shenae Lowings riding Bold Venture

Kevin McNab riding Scuderia 1918 A Best Friend

Shane Rose riding Dotti

Sam Lyle riding BF Valour (reserve)
