NZB Campino, know fondly as ‘Kinky’ has been officially retired from the international eventing circuit, and will live out his retirement years at Mark Todd’s Wiltshire yard.
The 17-year-old bay gelding has been an instrumental part of Todd’s team. He promptly showed his talent soon after arriving, winning the CCI2* at Hartbury as an 8-year-old. ‘Kinky’ stepped up the grades quickly, competing in the CCI3* at Boekelo, and finished in 3rd place. In 2012, NZB Campino and Mark were also part of the NZ bronze-medal winning team at the London Olympics.
A list of NZB Campino’s achievements are available to view here.
