Good luck to the Aussies competing at Millstreet this weekend!
By Equestrian Life
A number of Australian combinations are competing at Millstreet International Horse Trials this weekend in Ireland.
Bill Levett will contest the CCI4*L with Rnh Tom Tom R and the CCI4*S with Sligo Candy Cane.
Also in the CCI4*S will be FEI World Championship reserves Jessica Rae riding Fifth Avenue, who recently travelled from Australia to gain international experience and were part of our Nations Cup team at Haras du Pin in France.
Kevin McNab will also contest the class with Miss Pepperpot, and plans to ride Vidalgo and Scuderia 1918 Don Quidam in the CCI3*S; Don Quidam is one of two horses Kevin has been named with on the Australian World Championship team, and so Millstreet will serve as an ‘easy’ run for the KWPN gelding.
Isabel English will ride Christiana T and Cil Dara Dallas in the CCI3*S, while Sammi Birch will saddle up Jutopia in the CCI3*L.
In the CCI2*S, we’ll see Kevin McNab again — this time riding Pepper Poldark — and also Symone Brown riding Merlot.
Finally, the CCIYH2*S (young horse) field includes Kevin riding Faro Imp and Isabel English riding Sumas Tina Turner.
A big Aussie contingent is about to descend on Ireland, and we wish them the best of luck!
Results will be available here.
