Wellington, Florida is a popular area for equestrian pursuits.

Helgstrand Dressage, in conjunction with Waterland Private Equity, has purchased the stunning Windsome Farm in Wellington, Florida, for US$17.4 million. This equates to around 15.8 million euros or 25.7 million Australian dollars. It was originally listed for US$25 million.

Helgstrand Dressage is one of the world’s most decorated and successful stables for the training and selling of dressage horses. The Danish based business is run by Andreas Helgstrand and currently has three training centres across Denmark and Germany.

Helgstrand has been leasing a property as a sales base in the Wellington area for the past few years and will now make the move to Windsome.

The property is 80 acres / 32.3 hectares and includes 52 stables, three training rings, riding trails, stunning residences and more. The property is one of Wellington’s largest equestrian estates.
