A number of Australians have been in action at overseas events in the past week – including Chris Burton who of course won the Event Rider Masters (ERM) CIC3* at Blair Castle International Horse Trials with Graf Liberty. In winning the event, Chris secured the 2018 ERM series! Shane Rose and CP Qualified finished a very credible 5th place in the class, while Bill Levett finished 9th. At Milstreet CCI3* in Ireland, Sam Griffiths finished 4th of 18 riding Paulank Kings River, and Andrew Hoy with Basmati finished 11th.
In the showjumping world, James Paterson-Robinson compered two horses at Zandhoven CSI2* in Belgium. His best results was 7th of 82 with La Calido in a Table A 1.20m Two Phase. Edwina Tops-Alexander had four horses in action at Valence CSI5* in France; California, Cinsey, Inca Boy Van T Vianahof and Veronese Teamjoy all had pleasing results at the event.
