Great Britain’s Izzy Taylor and Be Touchable are leading the Étoiles de Pau CCI4* following the first day of dressage at the French event. The pair scored 71.21% to end the day atop the leaderboard on 28.8 penalties.
In second place is Denmark’s Peter Flarup and Frankie on 29.5, while Germany’s Andreas Ostholt and So Is Et scored 29.7 for third position. Big names, including William Fox-Pitt and Bettina Hoy, are breathing down their necks.
Competition continues today, with Australia’s sole combination — US-based Ryan Wood and Woodstock Bennett — to ride their test.
