Katie Laurie wins at Spruce Meadows

Australian Katie Laurie has won the ATCO Challenge 1.50m at Spruce Meadows ‘National’ CSI5* in Canada with Carissa McCall’s McCaw MVNZ, advancing to a 6-horse jump off and then posting the fastest clear round.
Earlier at the event, the pair also won the Table A 1.30m.
Katie, who represented Australia at Tokyo with Casebrooke Lomond, also enjoyed top-ten successes in a number of other classes, including winning another Table A 1.30m riding Esteban MVNZ, and finishing third and 10th in two separate 1.45m Table A classes with Cera Caruso.
Fellow Aussie Rowan Willis also had a number of top-ten finishes at Spruce Meadows, claiming fifth in the ATCO Classic and sixth in the CNOOC 1.50m class with Ashton Dakota, as well as 8th in the 1.50m Table A and seventh in the RBC Grand Prix of Canada 1.60m with Blue Movie.
