The latest FEI World Dressage Rankings are out, and Laura Graves has retained the top spot for the second month running with the 16-year-old KWPN gelding Verdades.
Breathing down her neck in the rankings is Isabell Werth on not one but three horses — she’s number two on Weihegold OLD, number three on Emilio 107, and number four on her WEG gold medal horse Bella Rose 2.
Next in the rankings is Cathrine Dufour and Atterupgaards Cassidy, Charlotte Dujardin and Mount St John Freestyle, Dorothee Schneider and Sammy Davis Jr., Helen Langhehanenberg and Damsey FRH, Edward Gal and Glock’s Zonik N.O.P., and Patrik Kittel on Deja. The top ten remains unchanged from the previous month.
One of the biggest movers in the rankings is Sweden’s Tinne Vilhelmson Silfvén and Don Auriello; they’ve risen from 176 to 31 this month. Similarly, Daniel Bachmann Andersen and Blue Hors Don Olymbrio rose from 206 to 41, while Gareth Hughes — who is in Australia for a masterclass at QSEC this Sunday — has moved from 188 to 42 with Classic Briolinca.
Kristy Oatley is Australia’s highest ranked rider with Du Soleil; they’ve moved from 44 to 40 following their recent success in Herning where they scored an Australian record (over 78%) in the Freestyle.
