Certainly some very exciting scores on the board with the Tokyo on the horizon, however being a CDN (rather than a CDI) they cannot be used as Olympic qualifying scores, nor count towards team selection based on the Tokyo 2020 selection policy. With CDIs just about impossible to run in Australia at present (the Boneo Classic and Sydney CDI are both scheduled to run as CDNs this year) due to the minimum requirements for international judges, it’s still unclear how Australian based combinations will be able to work towards Tokyo selection with the Olympics just seven months away.
