Melissa Galloway claims 2023 FEI Pacific League World Cup Final

New Zealand dressage star Melissa Galloway has earned the Pacific League place for Australian and New Zealand riders following her victory with Windermere J’Obei W in the 2023 FEI Pacific League World Cup Final (24-26 November).
The pair scored 74.218% to win the CDI-W LF Grand Prix and 79.24% to claim the CDI-W LF Grand Prix Freestyle.
The pair now have the opportunity to join an elite 18-strong field, mainly from Europe and America, who will travel to the FEI Dressage World Cup Final in Riyadh, on 16-20 April 2024.
Last month in Australia, Melissa and ‘Joey’ won the CDI-W at the Australian Dressage Championships with scores of 73.152% and 79.865% – the latter an NZ Freestyle record.
The Pacific League Final, which in recent years has been held in Australia, was this year run at ORO Dressage by the Lake in New Zealand. Fellow NZ rider Wendi Williamson was the runner up in both tests riding Don Vito MH, scoring 68.935% and 73.63%.
