Australian Olympic dressage rider, Mary Hanna has recently purchased the 13-year-old Westfalian mare, Syriana. The stunning bay mare is by Sir Donnerhall I x Bormio XX x Werbefunk.

Swedish rider, Malin Wahlkamp-Nilsson competed Syriana in the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle CDI3* last year, at Flyinge in Sweden. Nilsson finished in 6th position in the Grand Prix, with a total score of 69.087%, and finished 3rd in the Grand Prix Freestyle, with a total score of 71.870%. Syriana joins Mary’s other 12-year-old Grand Prix mare, Calanta.

Mary also made the decision earlier this year to sell her 2018 World Equestrian Games and Rio Olympic mount, Boogie Woogie 6 as well as her 2017 Young Horse Championships mount, Gerloin to Danish dressage Olympian, Andreas Helgstrand.
