Simone Pearce places sixth in London
Australian dressage rider Simone Pearce has finished in the placings for the CDI-W Short Grand Prix at The London International Horse Show, scoring 72.632% for sixth with Gestüt Bonhomme’s 13-year-old stallion Fiderdance (Fidertanz 2 x Don Schufro).
“Some unfortunate snorting caused mistakes in the two-tempis and zig zag, which cost big points, but still almost 73% and my best feeling to date in the trot tour with lots of 8s across the board including for the piaffes and one-tempis,” said Simone. “Super proud with our development! Now onwards and upwards to the freestyle!”
Congratulations to Simone on an amazing result at such a prestigious event amongst the world’s best!
Current World Champions Lottie Fry and Glamourdale won the class, scoring 84.026%, to finish ahead of teammates Gareth Hughes and Classic Briolinca on 78.263% and Germany’s Ingrid Klimke and Franziskus FRH in third on 75.421%. Helen Langehanenberg and Annabelle, also of Germany, scored 74.816% for fourth, while the Netherlands’ Hans Peter Minderhoud and Glock’s Dream Boy were fifth on 73.447%.
Competition continues Friday with the CDI-W Grand Prix Freestyle and we wish Simone and Fiderdance the best of luck!
