By Equestrian Life

Equestrian fans have the opportunity to purchase a piece of special sporting memorabilia and assist those affected by bush fires in the process, with Andrew Hoy’s 2012 London Olympics rug and a framed, signed photo with a personal note currently being offered for charity auction.

Andrew and Stefanie Hoy donated this unique auction item to “Equestrian Fundraising for Fire Relief”, a Facebook page that is auctioning off a wide variety of equestrian items. 100% of proceeds from all auction items on this page are going to Blaze Aid, a charity that helps farmers rebuild fences and infrastructure after fires.

At time of writing, the Hoy’s contribution to the auction has reached an incredible $3,500.

It’s not too late to bid! The auction ends at 9pm AEDT Sunday, 12th of January. Many other equestrian related auction items are now live, so visit www.facebook.com/equestrianfundraising to bid. All bids must be on the original posts.

Keep your eyes peeled, as Equestrian Life has donated 25 x 1 year subscriptions to this auction and they will be posted in the near future!
