Moroccan showjumper Abdelkebir Ouaddar has announced the retirement of Quickly de Kreisker, the 16-year-old Selle Français stallion (Diamant de Semilly / Beach Boy) with which he has enjoyed much success.

In front of admiring crowds, the extravagant stallion enjoyed 34 wins at FEI level, and represented Morocco at the 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games and 2016 Olympic Games.

Prior to joining the stables of H.M. King Mohammed VI to be ridden by Abdelkebir Ouaddar, Quickly de Kreisker was ridden by France’s Benjamin Robert.

Quaddar announced the stallion’s retirement on his Instagram page, writing: “I can’t thank you enough for all that you have done for me. I wish you the most wonderful life, will miss you so much, but you will remain in our hearts. Enjoy the paddocks and I will visit you as often as possible. Thank you to HM King Mohammed VI may God glorify him, for bringing you to our stables and for allowing us to jump to the four corners of the world, thank you to all the people who have crossed our path. I love you, Quickly.”

Happy retirement Quickly de Kreisker, thank you for entertaining us!
