In response to feedback from riders, the Organising Committee has agreed to run CNC3* and CNC2* classes at the Sydney International Horse Trials on 27-29 Apr 18.

Numbers will be limited and early entries will be encouraged, so that we can sort out additional arenas and judges if needed.

The cross country tracks will be designed by Mike Etherington-Smith and Stuart Tinney. Dressage will be on Friday, with cross country on Saturday and Jumping on Sunday. Details are on Nominate.

A CIC1* class is not being run, as there are four opportunities earlier in the year. The decision to run the CNC3* and CNC2* classes was largely based on filling the nine-week gap for non-CCI combinations between Equestriad and Melbourne CCI/CIC, which came about because Tamworth in May could not run above EvA 105, due to extensive earthworks on site.

Staging a major FEI event at SIEC is a massive commitment, so that the Organising Committee really needs the support of riders and volunteers.
