The Kentucky Three Day Event is back, with the event kicking off at 1pm on Wednesday the 25th, with the Cross Country course becoming open to the public at 1pm.
There are many notable names competing in the event, including Australia’s Christopher Burton on Nobilis 18, as well as Boyd Martin and Tsetserleg who now compete for team US. Australian born Phillip Dutton, who also rides for the US team will be competing two horses at the event.
Germany’s Michael Jung is returning with fischerRocana to defend their title as Kentucky Three Day Event champion, which has been consecutive since 2015.
There is a total of $420,000 in prize money provided for the competitors, with the first place getter receiving $130,000, as well as the very sought after title of 2018 Kentucky Three Day Event Champion.
The Dressage commences at 8am on Thursday the 26th of April in the outdoor stadium at Kentucky Horse Park, with the event continuing into the following day.
The anticipated cross-country phase will start promptly at 10am on Saturday the 28th, with each horse starting every 4 minutes.
The show jumping will start at around 1pm on Sunday the 29th, with the presentation to follow.
