The countdown is on to Burghley!

With the eventing world focused on the upcoming FEI World Championships in Pratoni, it’s easy to forget that one of the world’s most prestigious five-star events, Burghley Horse Trials (31 August – 4 September), is set to begin in a week’s time.
Three Australian combinations are named on the entry list, so get ready to start cheering.
Clayton Fredericks is 10th in the draw order with FE Coldplay, Sammi Birch is 51st in the draw with Finduss PFB, and Sarah Clark is 56th in the draw with LV Balou Jeanz.
In addition, Polystar I, formerly ridden by Aussie Chris Burton, will be saddled up by NZ rider Tim Price.
The action begins on Wednesday 31 August with the first horse inspection.
