“Shameless” television producer John Wells, writer, director and producer behind a slew of megahit TV series, including “ER” and “The West Wing,” is selling his remote Hawaiian ranch – and it includes an equestrian centre.
The equestrian centre has no shortage of lush grass.
Located in Kilauea, Kauai, Hawaii, the total property size is 375 acres with two residences. The property, named “Wai Kala”, comprises five contiguous parcels that together sprawl across lush countryside that includes waterfalls and swimming holes.

The significantly larger of the two homes sits above a winding stream and, according to listings held by Neal Norman at Hawaii Life, measures in at just over 3,500 square feet with four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.

The equestrian center, named “Silver Falls Stables”, is included in the sale and comprises a large stabling barn, a welcome center and a riding arena.
